About this course

Bring sophisticated mathematical and statistical tools to your Data Analytics work with this advanced microcredential. This microcredential is designed to build your expertise in the processing of data, prediction modeling, dynamic visualization and communication within the field of data analytics. As you progress through the microcredential, you will hone essential skills in applied probability and statistics, statistical data mining as well as experimental design. You will develop a toolbox of analytical design methodologies that you can draw from depending on the project at hand, from ANOVA (analysis of variance) to identify differences between groups, to Latin square design, factorial and fractional design and more. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares all for continued study and provides current information management, business or educational professionals with specialized analytical skills using quantitative techniques, strategies, and tools. Please note that this microcredential has a prerequisite that students have successfully completed a college-level statistics course prior to enrolling or have equivalent experience with approval of the department chair.
