What changed after the May 21 discussion
Source: May 22, 2026 Demo Sync transcript, 17 PDF pages, recording duration listed as 18:25. All exchanges read through the closing at 18:18. This is preparation for a demonstration, not a learner test or final product sign-off.
E-013, stakeholder acceptance of demo revisions: reviewers welcome more accurate non-credit wording, dates, price/format consistency and simpler inquiry/credential language. They also discuss keeping uncertain fields and scope visible. Confidence is strong for acceptance of these presentation changes, not for approval of all future behavior. [3:41–12:41, pages 3–11.]
Full discussion notes
| Time and pages | Speaker(s) | Change, reaction and limits |
|---|---|---|
| 0:03–0:45, 1 | Alan; Denise; Francisco | Text is difficult for Denise to read in the shared presentation. Francisco says the landing overview is acceptable and other detail screens are clearer. This concerns the meeting view. |
| 0:45–3:41, 1–3 | Alan; Denise; group | Prior/current slides are paired to show changes. Academic/credit references are removed from header/footer and SUNY's address is corrected to New York. Denise welcomes the wording. Part of the exchange concerns Teams view controls, not the website. |
| 3:41–4:20, 3–4 | Alan; Denise | Search filter now matches “in person” in results. Forklift tuition changes from “employer sponsored” to an actual amount. Denise approves those demo corrections. |
| 4:20–4:46, 4 | Alan; Denise | “Term” becomes start/end dates for short non-credit activity. CEU wording is removed from the specific example. Denise welcomes the revision. Do not generalize this to removing all CEU information from all offerings. |
| 4:51–5:42, 4–5 | Alan | Profile adds former surname, more street fields, separate city/state/postcode and more demographic fields, including required SSN/DOB in this example. A callout says other activity types may use different fields. This continues May 21's demo-specific decision. |
| 5:46–7:29, 5–6 | Denise; Alan; Francisco | Denise questions “occupational training, clinical placement” as public-facing wording and whether the actual course name would be clearer. She says institutional categories may not make sense to the public. Francisco recommends removing detailed examples and keeping the callout general. Group agrees; Alan will remove the highlighted type phrases. |
| 7:32–8:04, 6–7 | Denise; Francisco | Some displayed fields, possibly veteran/citizenship status, are outside the initial 37 data elements and may come later. Denise proposes checking on Tuesday. No new universal required-field list is agreed. |
| 8:11–8:59, 7–8 | Alan; Denise | Payment wording becomes more general and removes NCSIM references. Some screen content is unchanged. Denise likes the change. |
| 9:02–10:36, 8 | Alan; Denise | General inquiry changes “certificate” to “credentials.” Course inquiry returns from course details before registration, with course/category/profile pre-filled. Alan says the contact-consent outlet is removed at this point; Denise agrees. Inquiry dashboard removes PRI and changes a certificate reference to course. This is a demo edit, not a blanket approval to collect contact data without consent. |
| 10:37–11:35, 9 | Alan; Denise | Learner dashboard wording is made more general and CEU reference removed. Credential name is corrected, issuer becomes state rather than third party, and “download” becomes “view” where more accurate. Denise approves consistency. |
| 11:37–12:35, 9–10 | Alan; Denise | Tuition reimbursement inquiry becomes campus-specific rather than SUNY-wide; PRI wording is removed. Denise explains why precise copy matters: campuses may study the posted slides closely. |
| 12:41–14:13, 11–12 | Francisco; Anuraag; Denise; group | Francisco praises the clearer story/flow. SUNY will present two added slides; Anuraag offers, with a backup needed because of travel/connectivity. Amber is suggested. Tuesday preparation meeting is planned. |
| 14:13–16:21, 12–15 | Kathryn; Rachel; Anuraag; Denise; Francisco | Alan is asked to record a walkthrough so SUNY can prepare talking points and estimate duration. Webinar questions go through chat. The group favors demo first, then Q&A, then remaining office-hours time. Francisco says this historical session may exceed its allocated 30 minutes. |
| 16:23–17:18, 15 | Virginia; Francisco | Recording need not include timed pauses. Review content first and identify question breaks later. |
| 17:18–18:18, 15–17 | Group; Alan | Positive closing comments about collaboration and progress. Alan plans to delete prior-day slides, resolve comments and keep the revised version. No evidence here that our supplied screenshots are that final deck. |
What this means for interpretation
The meetings contain useful domain corrections and positive feedback. They do not support a blanket claim that the client rejected the whole experience. They also show how a polished demo can make unsettled field, payment or credential behavior look agreed. Keep each revision tied to its example and date.
Coverage: all 17 pages, opening/setup, substantive discussion, presentation planning and closing. No written PDF annotations. Small images are transcript/speaker icons; presented slides are not embedded. Automatic-transcript wording is not a substitute for the missing recording or deck comments.
