Under DASA, school professionals (teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, psychologists and social workers) who apply for state certification after December 31, 2013 must take this six-hour course. This includes personnel who are applying for new certificates, e.g., paraprofessionals going from a Level 1 to a Level 2. (2 meetings/6 hours)
