About this course
All applicants for a teaching certificate on or after February 2, 2001, are required to complete at least two clock hours of coursework or training in school violence prevention and intervention in accordance with Section 3004 of the Education Law. This includes applicants for certificates in administrative and supervisory service, classroom teaching service, and pupil personnel service. Successful completion of this two-hour course meets this requirement. (1 meeting/2 hours)
