Slate Painting

Scientists have linked creative expression to overall wellness, brain stimulation, and stress reduction. Art also enhances cognitive abilities, stimulates imagination, sharpens problem solving skills, and so much more! Art in Mind is a wellness studio that emphasizes the powerful effects that art has on the soul. Students must withdraw five business days before the start of the course for a full refund. Join the experienced educators from Art in Mind in painting a holiday scene on beautiful genuine roofing slates removed from Adirondack homes! You will learn techniques for painting on natural stone, as well as many other painting techniques, as we walk you through this project. All supplies included. No experience necessary.
